The table is made from resilient products such as MDF, ABS, PVC, and metal, guaranteeing that it’s sturdy and an excellent investment. Among the standout functions is its capability to quickly change from one game table to another. In addition, the foosball game is high quality and the players are well balanced on   premium steel rods that are a sturdy 1/2″ in size. Unfortunately, this table doesn’t offer air hockey. But, the games it does offer are well built and fun to play!

The Triumph Game Table

The Triumph Game Table does have fewer available games than other tables, but it’s a little heavier and, in our opinion, it is a better looking table than most. With measurements of 48” L x 23.75” W x 32” H. It weighs almost 62lbs.

This one is the largest game table we’ve reviewed. Due to it’s bigger size, it offers a more genuine gaming experience.

The table’s turning swivel innovation includes a sturdy, premium feel that sets it apart from the rest. Of course, as with all things premium, you will pay a little more as compared to some of the other options on our list. The heavier construction will ensure a nice long life span which is obviously a plus.

The Triumph 4-in-1 table provides 4 games to play, a big play surface area, space-saving swivel surface area, and consists of all the accessories needed to enjoy each game. It’s a terrific option for it’s value and if you have the space for it, it might be the perfect table for your family

Sunnydaze 10 Multi Game Table

The Sunnydaze 10 mix multi-game table includes a range of 10 satisfying games to keep your entire family engaged and having fun.

All the game tables easily stack in between the pool table base and the foosball table, which is a really great space saving design. This design plus its overall small size: 40″ L x 22.5″ W x 27.5″ and weighs 60 lbs. This smaller size makes this table a great option for virtually any size home. One potential problem is how tall each game is. The height is fairly short so adults may have a little trouble.   This might make it better for kids. Furthermore, the hockey  game is not air hockey so players need to apply more force to move the puck. For some, this lessens the speed and thrill of the game.

Sunnydaze supplies a 1-year warrantee. This is a pretty good warranty period considering what some of the other game tables offer. That’s one of the reasons this table scored so well on our review.

Games: billiards, push hockey, foosball, chess, table tennis, checkers, bowling, backgammon, shuffleboard, and card games

Comes With: The game table comes with all the accessories you need to play all the games.

Pros:

  • Vast array of games
  • Games stack for simple storage
  • Comes with everything you need to play the games
  • 1-year service warranty

Cons:

  • Slide hockey instead of air hockey.

  • A little short for adults to use.

Best Choice Products 10 Game Multi Table

The Best Choice Products 48 Inch Multi-Game Table is another strong contender due primarily to it’s very large assortment of games. It measures 48″L x 24″ W x 30.5″ H and weights slightly less than 60lbs.
It’s has a more modern styling which may matter to some, depending on where in your home you are planning to put it. Decently good construction means that this table can be a family favorite for years with proper care.

The large choice of games really sets this table apart. I don’t know about your family, but some of mine really enjoy games like checkers and cards. Having those options in addition to the faster pace of hockey and foosball is a great option. No matter what sort of game you’re interested in playing, high energy or something with a slower pace, this table has you covered.

We really like game stacking feature of this table. It keeps everything  safely tucked away until next game night!
The primary downsides of the very best Choice Products multi-game table are the fairly cheaply made accessories and the slide hockey game. But, these aren’t necessarily a deal breaker, it might actually be just fine for your needs.

Games: Slide hockey, foosball, pool, table tennis,  shuffleboard, chess, checkers, cards, bowling, and backgammon.

Comes With: Comes with 50 accessories, everything you need to play every game included.

IFOYO Multi Game Table, Childrens Combination Game Table

The IFOYO Multi Game Table comes with 4 games.  It is constructed with MDF Panel and PVC surface. It’s measurements are 42 L x 24W x 32″ H, and it weighs 57.3lbs. This table requires some simple assembly but it isn’t difficult, most people should be able to get it down quickly. It folds up for easy storage and fast conversion from one game to another.

Fairly well made and it has a decent sturdiness to it. Don’t let your kids crawl on it, but otherwise it should hold up well for normal play. It’s a little taller than a few of our other entries which will make it easier to play for older kids and even adults. It comes with a 90 day guarantee which is a little on the short side.

We personally didn’t care for the blue and yellow flame motif, but that’s just us. In a game rooms or kids room it’ll be fine for most people. The ability to stand the table on it’s end for storage is genius. It’s a real space saving feature.

The wide legs provide good stability no matter how competitive your family gets.

Comes With: All accessories needed to play the games

Pros:

  • Easy storage
  • Taller than other games, easier for adults to play

Top Features To Look For When Choosing A Multi Game Table

Number and Types of Games Available

Of course, when choosing a multi game table you’re going to want to consider the types of games, and how many games, are available in each model. Finding the best combination of games that your family enjoys just makes sense.
Here are the types of games available on various models of game tables:

Pool
Ok, full confession, I love playing pool. I used to have a 9ft. slate table in my basement and spent many hours down there. So, I guess I’m a little bit of a purest and the cheap “felt” used on the pool tables in these multi tables isn’t really felt at all.

Air Hockey
Air hockey is the only real way to play hockey on a table top. With no air flow the game tends to be much slower moving and may be a little boring for some. No air flow table top hockey is called slide or push hockey. Before buying a multi game table, check to make sure it does have air hockey.

Table Tennis
Also commonly known as ping pong. Most game tables that have a ping pong game also come complete with paddles, balls and a net.

Foosball
This fast moving soccer game is available on most multi game tables

Shuffleboard
This miniaturized version of the common game is a little tougher to find on multi game tables, but it does come on some modes.

Bowling
Again, not as common as other games, if this is a game your family loves, you can find multi game tables that offer bowling.

Board Games
Chess, checkers, backgammon and cards are available on several models.

Common Drawbacks to Multi Game Tables

  • Most game tops will not be regulation size, in many cases, not even close
  • The felt on the pool tables isn’t really felt. It can have a cheap look
  • Some game tables don’t have a leveling feature which is a problem for pool due to the precise nature of the game. Still, kids and novices probably won’t mind. And, hey, a lousy pool table is better than no pool table at all, right?
  • Quality may be lacking. For example, on some less expensive air hockey tables the air holes are widely spaced or improperly drilled, which means that there are “dead zones” where the puck won’t move or will slow down considerably.
  • As you might expect with a portable table tennis game, the table top is made of multiple pieces. That means when you set it up you will have one, or more, seams where the pieces come together. Also, the top is much thinner than a regular full sized table. These factors can affect the level of play.
  • Unfortunately, many models of multi game tables cheap out on the accessories. While they are generally included, they are often lacking in quality. Ping pong paddles, pool cues and hockey pucks often just aren’t very good quality. You may want to buy these accessories separately to ensure better quality and better level of play.

Mutli Game Table or a Conversion Top?

We’ve been discussing the various multi game tables in this article. But one thing we want to point out is that for some, this isn’t going to be the best option. If you already have a pool table a conversion top may be the better alternative.

The level of play will be better than any smaller, shorter and possibly less stable multi game table.

You can get a full sized, regulation table tennis top that will fit directly over your existing pool table. A quality conversion top is heavy and will have padding under it to protect the finish of your pool table.

These full size conversion tops are big, 9ft. x 5 fts. but most come in two pieces so they are easy to store and easy to lift into place on your pool table. Unlike the table tennis tops in multi game tables, this one only has 1 seam where the pieces come together, and that is directly under the net so it won’t impact play.

One of the top rated table tennis conversion tops is the JOOLA Regulation Table Tennis Conversion Top with Net. You can learn more about it here.

Set Up For A Multi Game Table

This process can vary quite a bit from one table to another. Some tables have very little assembly and set up required while others may need to be put together, than set up.

This may be a consideration before you buy your multi table. If you’re someone (like me) who hates the idea of struggling through horribly written instructions than a table that doesn’t require assembly may be best for you. Assembly information will be listed in the description of the multi game table you want to purchase.

Multi Game Table Storage

Of course, the exact model and size of table you purchaser will determine your storage. However most of these tables do offer some sort of on board storage for games and accessories. The legs of tables (for most models, not all though) generally do not fold up so this will limit the availability of folding the overall table for storage

Your best bet, in most cases, is to simply lift up the table and move it to a corner of the room. Most of these tables aren’t very heavy so this shouldn’t be that big of a deal but it can free up a little space for you.

For the various games and accessories, it’s generally pretty easy to simply stack the game tops on top of the table. Some tables include shelves or attached accessory storage. More than likely, you won’t have to search for a spot to store the extra game tables and accessories making your life easier.

How To Maintain Your Multi Game Table

These tables do require occasional, simple, maintenance to ensure long life. Here are some maintenance tips to keep in mind:

  1. Wipe down the surface of your game table with a damp cloth or an antibacterial spray. Test the spray on a hidden spot on your table to make sure it doesn’t damage the finish. Be careful on the pool table top since any spray may discolor the fabric. Always rely on the manufacturers instructions, they know more about the specifics of your game table than we do!
  2. Keep the rods on the foosball table lubricated, again follow manufacturers directions for your specific model.
  3. Make sure the holes on your air hockey table, if you have one, are unblocked. If needed, you may be able to use a drill with a small bit to clear out any debris blocking the hole.
  4. Visually inspect for damage periodically. When it comes to maintenance it’s always best to catch issues early.

Here are Some Helpful FAQ’s

What Multi Game Table Is Best?

The best game table will have these features:

  • A wide variety of games
  • All the accessories for those games
  • Sturdy construction for long life
  • The combination of games your family enjoys playing

After all, having a game table that includes ping pong when no one in your family likes to play ping pong obviously isn’t a good match for you. Find the games, the overall size of the table, the aesthetics of the table, the warranty and the price that work for you. That will be the best multi game table for you!

What is The Cost Of a Game Table?

The price ranges for multi game tables can vary a lot. On the low end you can expect to spend around $150. As you add more features, a bigger table built with more solid construction methods, the cost will go up. These premium tables can go up to $1500. For most, the mid range will be around $500 and will provide the perfect mix of size, number of games, quality construction, affordable price.

Do Multi Game Tables Include Playing Accessories?

In our research, every table we reviewed, and many others, do come with all the accessories needed to play the included games – paddles, pool cues, pucks, ping pong balls, etc. However, unfortunately, many of the included accessories were definitely on the cheap side. To enhance play you may want to invest in higher quality accessories.

What Is The Best Size For A Game Table?

This depends exclusively on two main things:

  1. The space available in your home
  2. Who will primarily be playing the games.

As we stated with a few of our reviews above, some of the game tables are very short. That means if you want to play with your kids you’ll have to squat down to do it. For many, that isn’t the most enjoyable way to play a game of pool or ping pong!

To my knowledge and based on my research, there isn’t a multi table game that is full size. Your pool table, ping pong table, foosball table and air hockey table will all be smaller than regulation size. This is the nature of the beast, They are designed for smaller spaces, and to pack a lot into a small package.

How Big Does My Room Need To Be For A Multi Table

Out of all the games in most multi tables, you will likely have to accommodate the most space for playing pool. If possible, allow a minimum a 3 foot clearance around the entire multi table. This should give you all the room you need. If you choose a multi game table that doesn’t include pool, you can get by with less space.

Which is Bigger, Multi Table Pool Or Ping Pong Table?

Most multi game pool tables, even the biggest models, are around 75inches x 37 inches which is considerably smaller than a normal size (not multi table) ping pong table which is around 108 in. x 60 inches.

In many instances, the ping pong table on a multi game table will be larger than the pool table. The ping pong tables are often designed to hang over the edge of the pool table.

Can I Just Get A Ping Pong Table Top For My Pool Table?

The short answer is yes. There are conversion tops that you can put over your pool table for an instant ping pong table. These tops can be very large and it is recommended that you have a full size pool table or the ping pong conversion may be too big to fit on your pool table.

If your ping pong conversion top hangs too far over your pool table, it may become unstable and fall off entirely.

Here is a link to the top selling ping pong conversion top for a pool table, click here.

Flip top Vs. Rotational Tables. What’s the Difference?

Actually, that is a trick question. Both terms refer to the same thing. Essentially you just flip the table to get to another game top.
